Full Route Visual | London Bus Route 165 | Towards Rainham, Abbey Wood Lane | 19731 (LX11 AZU)

Yet another visual, this time in East London in the form of the 165. This was filmed in January of this year and since the electrification of the route just started, I wanted to try these LX11 E400s on the route before the route got fully converted. The route was alright in all honesty, a bit of a residential route whilst going into Romford, Hornchurch and Elm Park, with it terminating at a very residential part of Rainham. Overall I’d give the route a generous 7/10, nothing special but solid overall. Route 165 is operated by Stagecoach London out of their Rainham (RM) garage using Wright Streetdeck Electroliner EVs. The route runs from Romford, The Brewery to Rainham, Abbey Wood Lane via Gidea Park, Emerson Park, Hornchurch, Elm Park and South Hornchurch. The route has a PVR of 13 running every 12-20 minutes and does not have night service, though will have an express variant of the route being the upcoming route SL12. #fortheloveofbuses #foryou #buses #londonbuses
