The Abandoned Ark

A condemned man wakes from a routine rotation aboard a century-old colony ship and finds the cryo bay empty except for sealed pods containing wax mannequins posed as sleepers. One pod holds a wax version of himself, older, softened by heat, and marked by fresh fingerprints at the throat, suggesting this impossible voyage has been interrupted before.
