Saloni asserts that Sridhar is not the culprit because her heart says so. Aditi demands to know how she can make such tall claims. Pia too asserts that Sridhar cannot rape her, but they wonder who else it could be. Brijesh, Nahar and Dheer manage to corner Sridhar, but he again ascertains that he had sold the bracelet to a goldsmith as he needed money. Just then, the Commissioner arrives and arrests Sridhar. Saloni suggests to Nahar that they visit the goldsmith and confirm the truth, but Nahar refuses and asks Saloni not to complicate matters more. Saloni then seeks Abhi's help. The goldsmith says that nobody had come to him to sell the bracelet, but Saloni is still not convinced. Meanwhile, Kaveri and Samar come home with the baby. She regrets that a dark baby has been dumped on her! The baby starts to cry, so Manno Bhabhi asks Kaveri to breastfeed her, but Kaveri gives her bottle milk. Samar sees this and is furious, but Kaveri sheds crocodile tears and lies that she is unable to feed. A man then phones the goldsmith and the latter is delighted, having received so much of money to speak just one lie. However, the man cautions him never to reveal the truth, or he'll be in deep trouble! The man then says to himself that he had to make Sridhar the scapegoat because he always gets what he wants!
