Rex Vs Jin: Was the Hate Justified? | Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Analysis

Xenoblade chronicles 2 is a game that got a lot of flack for really minor stuff like sexualization (exaggerated claim) and in all that moral panic people missed some of the most interesting dynamics the game has to offer. The dynamic between the games protagonist Rex and one of the games major antagonists Jin is in my opinion the beating heart of the narrative of xenoblade chronicles 2. For most of the narrative Rex and Jin are in a sense, polar opposites, an old bitter former hero vs. a young and naive aspiring hero. Jin is strong and competent where as Rex is weak and prone to mistakes. The thing that however makes Rex the hero of the story and ultimately the person who saves the day is his indomitable spirit, the antithesis of Jin's nihilism. Anyway, I just thought this would be a fun video to mess around with and make considering the other xenoblade chronicles 2 videos I've made and the fact that my other projects are gonna take some time to put together. Thanks for reading this and I hope you enjoy the video! #xenobladechronicles #jrpg #xenobladechronicles2 Follow me on Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/jadethescrib...
