Equality and Lived Experience for Women of Colour in the VPS

In recognition of International Women’s Day (Sunday 8 March), this session will explore the experiences of women of colour working in the Victorian Public Sector through a human rights lens. The panel will reflect on equality and non-discrimination in practice, barriers and enabling conditions within workplace systems and culture, and what inclusive leadership looks like in day-to-day decision-making. The conversation aims to be practical and reflective, with insights that staff can apply within their own teams and areas of work.
