Praying For Snow - Kirkwood, January 2025

Looking back at footage from 2025, we had an absolute famine in the Tahoe region. Dry and warm conditions meant that some areas in bounds never became skiable the whole winter. This footage is from a trip to Kirkwood in January, where the sunrise ridge was bare at the top. We still had a pretty good time skiing on what little snow existed, finding lappable runs on Caple's Crest and at Timber Creek. We may have made some vain appeals to the snow gods for more snowpack.
