Pro Footballer Feels The Struggle of Machu Picchu Climb!

DAYS 3 & 4 of the Inca Trail and it's full chaos from start to finish! We carry on the hike through some unreal scenery, stop for a break and get absolutely SWARMED by ants — why are they on steriods? Then it's time to cross the sketchiest bridges I've ever seen in my life. Not safe. Not even close. Probably illegal. Then we hop on what they call a "cable car" but honestly it's just a metal basket over a river and I'm not sure how it would of ended if we went down! Day 4 is the big one — we're up in the pitch black, OBV forgot our torches, hiking towards Machu Picchu. I can't lie I was blowing climbing up it, BLOWING! I'd to really mentally talk to myself in the climb about just moving - putting one foot in front of the other, trying to keep the pace and not fall behind, but when we finally made it... the views. THE VIEWS. It was all worth it. This one's an honest one. Sweating, swearing, and absolutely buzzing by the end.
