Okay... this one has me questioning DLSS 5 a bit. Crimson Desert already looks seriously good. I've been testing it at 1440p with DLSS 5 Neural Rendering + Multi Frame Generation unlocked through OptiScaler on my RTX 4070 Super. And yes... DLSS 5 does make the image look better. There's definitely an extra level of realism there, especially when you start looking closely at characters, detail and the overall image. But here's the problem... Crimson Desert already looks REALLY good. With DLSS 4.5 + Ray Reconstruction already doing such a good job, I'm starting to wonder if Neural Rendering is actually needed in some modern games. At some point, does adding more AI reconstruction actually become overkill? That's what I wanted to test with this one. DLSS 5 ON vs OFF. DLSS 4.5 + Ray Reconstruction. Multi Frame Generation. Max settings. 1440p. RTX 4070 Super. The difference is there. But is it enough to justify adding another layer of rendering technology to a game that already looks this good? I'm honestly not sure. And that's exactly why I wanted to show the comparison rather than just tell you DLSS 5 makes everything better. Crimson Desert might be one of those games where less is more. #CrimsonDesert #DLSS5 #NeuralRendering #OptiScaler #RTX4070Super #MFG
