At Jinjuseong Fortress and the Jinju National Museum, we look back on the Battle of Jinju, one of the three great victories of the Imjin War, and discover the poignant story behind the lanterns that once floated along the Namgang River. As night falls, the Namgang transforms into a vast canvas of light! Around 70,000 brilliant lanterns illuminate the river, while visitors send off floating lanterns carrying their wishes. A spectacular 1,300-drone light show fills the autumn sky, followed by a dazzling fireworks finale! And no trip to Jinju would be complete without its signature local flavors, from savory yukjeon to the rich, refreshing taste of Jinju naengmyeon!
