Winter Trains on the Union Pacific Mt. Vernon Subdivision - February 19, 2025

A February snowstorm dumped a few inches of snow in the Southern Illinois region. I had a Wednesday afternoon free to do some railfanning. The scanner led me to Union Pacific’s Mt. Vernon Subdivision where I found three trains meeting in the village of Ina. We then head up to Mt. Vernon for a northbound freight train under an overcast sky.
