He Brought Me Up – Psalm 40:1–10 (KJV) | Verse for Verse Gospel Scripture Testimony Song

“I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.” – Psalm 40:1 (KJV) There are seasons when the waiting feels long, the way forward is unclear, and the weight of life seems too heavy to bear. But Psalm 40 reminds us that the Lord hears our cry, remembers us in our trouble, and is able to lift us out of the pit and set our feet upon a rock. “He Brought Me Up” is a verse-for-verse gospel Scripture song based on Psalm 40:1–10 (KJV), bringing this beautiful passage of testimony, deliverance, and praise to life through music. From waiting patiently on the Lord to receiving a new song and declaring His righteousness, these verses remind us that God's faithfulness is worthy of our trust and His goodness is worthy of our praise. This passage encourages us to keep trusting God even when the answer has not yet come. The same Lord who heard David's cry is still faithful today. He is our help, our deliverer, and our firm foundation. May this song strengthen your faith, encourage your heart, and remind you that no season of waiting is wasted when our hope is in the Lord.
