First Hospital Experience in Barcelona

Welcome to Vismaya’s Lil World! 💕 In this video, I’m sharing our family’s first hospital experience in Barcelona. Soon after returning from India, my dad developed a high fever and later started vomiting. What we first thought was normal travel tiredness eventually became a hospital visit, where he was diagnosed with Influenza A. In this video, I share our experience from the emergency room, blood tests, IV fluids, private hospital room, hospital food, staying overnight with Dad, communicating with nurses using Google Translate, and finally his recovery and discharge. We also learned about Baja Médica and Alta Médica in Spain and got a better understanding of how the healthcare system works here. One special moment from this experience was when we couldn’t find a cab late at night, and a kind Pakistani driver accepted our ride and helped us reach the hospital safely. ❤️ The most important thing for us was seeing Dad healthy and smiling again.
