A combination of 2 test days, which with numbers being what they are at this time of year might be the theme for the next few as well. Quality over quantity for sure though with these! 27th of October brought Warren Briggs in the 1979 McLaren M29/2 of John Watson, that was also being filmed by a fairly significant camera rig in pit lane! Two of the Aston Martin DBR1-2 / Lola B09/60 V12 LMP1 cars appeared again with Christian Albrecht and James Hanson as they prepare for Monza and the WEC round coming up. Jack Yang and Bobby Thompson were trialling the BMW M4 GT3 of Century Motorsport ahead of a possible British GT challenge, and Lewis Wherrell and Thomas Ingram-Hill tested two of the GB3 cars. Matt and Mike Wrigley were present in a pair of different Chevron racing cars, and the Parr Motorsport Porsche and a handful of CDR F4 cars made up the small numbers on the day. The 3rd of November I didn't stick around for too long at as rain made it unbearable once again. However there was a brief appearance from the 1960 F1 Championship winning Cooper T53 of Jack Brabham for a few laps in the hands of Charlie Martin, as well as a couple of the future stars in the Land Norris Fusion F4 cars. Noah Young was out getting more testing mileage in the Hyundai BTCC car, albeit finding it treacherous in the wet as so many often have at the Melbourne loop. 2Seas were running their Mercedes AMG GT3 car for Darren Leung, along with a mix of Elite Motorsport Ginetta's and a McLaren GT4 car. Triple M had brought the Dilango Racing Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 car across from the old GT Asia series too. You'll have to excuse two things in this one. 1 the wind. And 2, the wobblier than usual footage because somebody left his tripod in Clocaenog forest, and when the replacement showed up (4 days late thanks to the ineptitude of the national post service), it was broken as well!
