Pine Marten vs Raptor Nest: One Egg, One Enemy | Nature Documentary

High in a pine forest, a raptor pair stakes everything on a single egg. While the female holds steady over the nest bowl, the male hunts — and a pine marten is already climbing toward the canopy. This nature documentary follows one nest through a whole season: the guarded pairing, the long incubation through rain and cold nights, the hatching of a chick too small to survive on its own, the first feedings, the slow growth from down to juvenile feathers, the dangerous first climb onto the outer branch, and finally the first real flight — from the end of helplessness to a hunter in training. All action shown is non-graphic: the pine marten never harms the chick, no blood, no kill.
