Instead of simply fitting some new parts to my BMW R 1300 GS and calling it a day, I decided to put them through a proper real-world test — by designing and riding my own roadbook rally. In this episode, I’m testing the new Raid Garage Rally Windscreen and NICECNC rearview mirrors on the BMW R 1300 GS to see how they perform when things get a little more demanding. The route I created combines a roadbook, navigation, challenging roads and plenty of adventure, giving me the perfect excuse to find out whether these BMW R 1300 GS upgrades actually make a difference out on the trail. The Raid Garage Rally Windscreen is designed with rally and off-road riding in mind, while the NICECNC rearview mirrors offer a different approach to the standard BMW mirrors. But how will they hold up when the riding gets rough? This isn't a studio review or a quick ride around the block. I'm putting these upgrades to the test the way I actually ride — out in the real world, with plenty of opportunities for things to go wrong!
