Jabal Samhan Nature Reserve is a nature reserve in the area of Jabal Samḥān in Dhofar, Oman. It has an area of 4,500 square kilometres and has no permanent population. Being in the region of the Dhofar Mountains, it is one of the last refuges for wild Arabian leopards. Jabal Samhan is arguably one of the locations not to miss when you are in Dhofar. Located at around 80kms from Salalah, it is the highest peak in the Governerate. As you drove to the point, you feel like that little by little, you are moving above the clouds, and once you are there, the view is truly incredible.
