In April 1995, Marlon Brando was back in cinemas. On Easter Sunday that same month, on the island of Tahiti, his daughter Cheyenne lost a five-year war with her own mind. She was twenty-five.
Five years earlier, she had been the only person who knew exactly what happened on the night her brother Christian shot the man she loved, Dag Drollet, inside their father's house on Mulholland Drive. Two governments, three courts and the most famous actor in the world fought over what she might say. She never said a word in court.
This is the tragic story of Cheyenne Brando: the girl who grew up in paradise and never left the night of May 16, 1990.
