Smoke Detector [Re-Edit]

Another interesting one I wanted to re-edit, it's the Smoke Detector video. I view this one as a 'redeeming' project, as the last 2 before this one: that being the How-To and the 60-second commercial, were viewed by my teacher as disappointing. More so on the groups that did those videos rather than any particular individual. The teacher made it a point where we should really utilize the camera shots we learned in order to make good video. That's also the reason why I chose not to re-edit those particular projects, because I'm truly dissatisfied with them, and I don't think a re-edit can do those videos justice A notable difference you can spot between this re-edit and the original edit, is the different bird and smoke detector sound effects. Since I don't remember the original site we used to gather sound effects for editing, the wonderful bird singing sound effect from back then couldn't be used. But the smoke detector sound effect was actually authentic. Not only did it sound more real, but it was gathered from an issue I had with my apartment unit months ago where one smoke alarm was faulty and it kept going off. I actually recorded that to send to management at my building, and so I was able to use that as a sound effect for this video to be more authentic thankfully Original Edit:    • The guys destroying smoke detectors and......   Credits Director Liam Hoffmann: ‪@FoxRiverRailfan‬ Editor Spencer Ngo: ‪@Racerfan_Xtras‬ Main Cast Josh Krause Liam Hoffmann Supporting Cast Spencer Ngo Taylor Brown Cameracrew Liam Hoffmann Spencer Ngo Taylor Brown My Main YouTube Channel: ‪@RacerfanXVA‬ Instagram:   / racerfanx_spencer_ngo   Twitter:   / racerfanx   Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/racerfanx.bs...
