TEXAS A&M Goalkeepers Fall 2026 - Dealing with deep balls into the box and 2nd phase moments. Activation - Starting the session with crossover footwork into handling and high ball activation. Working both sides, focusing on technical decisions in movement, and approach to the ball. Announced - (Progression of Activation) Crossover footwork into handling and high ball service. Into 2nd phase shot stopping (out of position intentionally, within 2nd phase). Decision making on set position, balance and save decisions. Announced to Unannounced - In possession action, receiving and playing out to the pocket near halfway, transition moment into a deep ball into the box. Away or Keeper call made, transition to a shot stopping moment early. Focusing on which moment we are in, in possession or out of possession. Create a few game like situations. Thoughts/ Questions Adding in layers to a in possession/ out of possession activity with context to the goalkeepers. Recognizing we can be caught out of position and how can we still be impactful/ effective.
