Kurnool A family from Adoni in Kurnool district has been stranded in Darchen region near the Nepal border following the devastating floods in Nepal that damaged key roads and bridges connecting the area to Kathmandu. The family, comprising Bhaskara Shastri, his wife Sharada, son Raghunatha Shastri and daughter-in-law Hansika, had travelled on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra earlier this month. Their relatives approached Adoni MLA Dr. Parthasarathy seeking assistance after learning that the family was unable to return due to disrupted transport links. Journey Interrupted by Floods According to family members, the four pilgrims left Bengaluru on August 10 as part of a group of 156 devotees travelling to Kailash Mansarovar via Nepal. After completing the pilgrimage on August 25, most members of the group opted for the Parikrama Yatra. However, Bhaskara Shastri and 15 others did not undertake the Parikrama due to health issues and stayed at a hotel in Darchen, a town located near the Nepal-China border. #NepalFloods #NepalFloods2026 #Adoni #AdoniFamily #Kurnool #AndhraPradesh #NepalFloodsNews #NepalFloodsUpdate #NepalRescue #NepalDisaster #FloodsInNepal #KailashMansarovar #IndianPilgrims #APNews #AndhraPradeshNews #TeluguNews #BreakingNews #LatestNews #RescueOperation Follow us on: Facebook:   / samayam.telugu   Instagram: instagram.com/samayam_telugu_toi X: https://X.com/samayamtelugu For More Videos, Please Subscribe to Our Official YouTube Channel Samayam Telugu Here 👇👇👇    / @samayamtelugu_toi   Please visit our Website, SAMAYAM TELUGU (which is a part of the Times of India group)
