Welcome onboard the Porter Airlines Q400! On 15 September 2026, I flew from Montreal Trudeau to Toronto Billy Bishop as part of my fourth leg of my travels from home in Vancouver to Camp Reset at Camp Walden, a digital detox camp for adults! Despite my 12 years of growing up in Toronto, I've never been to Billy Bishop Airport before, so this was an especially exciting flight and milestone for me! My experience on Porter this time was much more positive than last year. The crew was fantastic, similar to the Air Inuit flights the previous day, and the snacks and drinks were high-quality. The approach into Toronto was spectacular, and our pilots also allowed me to photograph the cockpit after we landed. With the short flight times between these two cities, air travel is definitely the preferred way to travel between Montreal and Toronto by a long shot, and I enjoyed the stress-free ground experience at Billy Bishop and its fare-free shuttle bus to Union Station.
