Sesión 04: Apnea Obstructiva del Sueño: Identificación y Referido Oportuno

Rivera-Baigés, MD, presentó una revisión sobre la apnea obstructiva del sueño (AOS) en atención primaria, incluyendo sus mecanismos e impacto, su relación con enfermedades neurológicas y neurodegenerativas, las herramientas de detección y las opciones diagnósticas. También abordó el tratamiento con PAP, el papel de la pérdida de peso y tirzepatida, la revisión de medicamentos y los criterios para referir al paciente a medicina del sueño o neurología.
