Storm Boelo Hikeout 2026

Storm Boelo hit Britain in October 2026, on the back of Storm Austin. Austin wiped out the south lands of England without mercy and the government was talking of stocking up on water and tins in case the following Boelo took out power and distributed distribution across the UK. In the midlands however we didn't get much blow out at all really, Austin came silently in the night causing the autumn leaves to fall early, no devastation in my town at all. Boelo also was tame in comparison to the damages in the north of the UK, Scotland taking a major damage level with flooding, trees down and people injured. My hike on the Saturday was calming, a storm was coming but even in storms there is calm to be found. The sporadic gusts caused a melody of fury which sparked then died to leave me in serenity as misty rains passed through the valley. Only a few sharp reminders that there was supposed to be a storm in the area. To be used as reference to support the Off the Beaten Track Facebook Articles. www.Facebook.com/Offthebeatentrackotbt
