Shopsmith Jigsaw 610 Rebuild: Prepping for 2022 Markers That Rock Album Art Collaboration

I'm very excited to be participating in the 2022 Makers That Rock Album Art Collaboration. I've selected The Beatles Let it Be album, which I have always loved and is present of mind due to the recent "Get Back" documentary on Apple TV+. I will be making my album art by cutting out a stylized pattern of the album cover on a Shopsmith Jigsaw 610. These days most people would recognize this tool as a scroll saw except the upper arm does not move and the blade is tensioned from above by a spring. This type of scroll saw is called a "rigid arm" saw and was once the dominate design for most manufacturers.
