Imberbus 2026: Not a Normal Bus Route...

Maxson Goh Films around 40 buses on the Salisbury Plain for one of Britain's most unusual bus events. For one day each year, buses are allowed to enter the Imber Range Training Area and carry passengers to Imber, a former village whose residents were evacuated in 1943 when the area was taken over by the War Office for military training. The village has never been returned to civilian use and access remains restricted for most of the year. The Imberbus network extends beyond Imber itself, with services running from Warminster to places including Gore Cross, Chitterne, Tilshead, Market Lavington and other remote locations across Salisbury Plain.
