The team is forced to fight their way through their own school, securing zones and clearing out the Training Centre to save their fellow students! When they finally locate Headmaster Cid, he reveals a desperate emergency protocol hidden deep beneath the school. But the power cuts out! Squall, Zell, and Rinoa are forced to manually pry open a trap door and climb down into the pitch-black, rusted mechanical depths of the ancient MD Level. Navigating the dark industrial maze, they manually turn massive metal valves to restore oil pressure, leading to a brutal ambush by two massive, grotesque Oilboyle slug monsters! Set to a completely flipped, heavy metal arrangement of the normally peaceful "Balamb Garden" theme, this episode completely shatters the safety of our home base!
