What does motherhood look like when you have two toddlers, no regular help, sleepless nights—and no desire to outsource raising your children?
In my first weekly vlog, I’m sharing an honest week of motherhood from beautiful Sicily: the burnout, the joy, the exhaustion and the beliefs that keep me going. I talk about why choosing the right husband may be the most important decision of your life, why I handle both children at night while my husband sleeps, and why I believe parents—not institutions—should remain the central caregivers in their children’s lives.
I also share why I stopped using sunscreen on myself and my babies, how we protect ourselves from the Sicilian sun, and what happened after an entire summer without it. We talk about makeup and skin aging, losing my old motivation to work out, breastfeeding while exercising, improving your appearance through posture, and how only a few days in the sea transformed my back pain and stiffness.
Along the way, my GoPro suddenly dies, we explore Patti Marina, discover a wonderful place to eat, tackle laundry on vacation and survive another nearly sleepless night with two little ones.
I’m Anna—a mother of two with another baby on the way. Here I share traditional, attachment-focused motherhood, family life, faith, homemaking and the beautiful, difficult reality of raising children yourself.
