Have you ever looked at someone else's testimony and thought, “I don't really have one”? For a long time, I felt that way about my own story. I hadn't lived the kind of life I thought a testimony was supposed to come from, so I never really saw what God had done in my life as a testimony. In this first part of my story, I share the home I came from, some of the wounds I carried, and the encounter I had at a worship seminar that changed my life and began a journey of healing. That encounter helped me see myself, my past and God's work in my life differently — and ultimately played a part in making me the woman I am today. This is only Part 1 of my story, and there is more to come.
