Bob Moses: Live Concert | CBC Music Live

From the first note, Bob Moses (‪@bobmosesmusic‬) fans are ready and leaning into the melodic house beats that the electronic duo (Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance) are known for. Opening the show Time of Your Life a song with a steady beat and warm synths, they quickly get into their iconic track with Elderbrook, Inner Light, bringing the room deeper into the duo’s world of sonic textures and electronic grooves. The set is a mixture of old and new with a few throwback tracks like Grace and All I Want for the day ones. Lots of Bob Moses songs are lyrically introspective, but especially so with their newer track Last Forever. Before playing, singer Tom Howie reflects on how the song was written while in a meditative state, listening to his kid laugh and play outside his studio, bringing a beautifully reflective moment to the concert. The latter half of the show is truly banger after banger. Keep Love Waiting follows Afterglow which gets the entire audience singing and dancing ecstatically. And finally the set closes with Blink, bringing the night to a beautiful final crescendo showcasing the bands incredible talent to bring the ethereal and the bass into a cohesive and danceable transcendental experience, Bob Moses Live Concert CBC Music Live Subscribe to ‪@cbcmusic‬ For everything you need to know about the week in music, exclusive live performances and the best new songs, sign up for CBC Music's newsletter, Listen Up!: http://cbc.ca/listenup CBC Music is your hub for coast-to-coast-to-coast Canadian music.
