Starting at Pachena Bay and finishing at Gordon River, eight friends from across Canada set out to hike one of the most demanding coastal trails in the world. What followed was a week of endless ladders, slippery boardwalks, deep mud, violent surge channels, long beach walks, and moments of quiet beauty that only exist when you’ve truly earned them.
Along the way we faced:
– rain, tides, and exhaustion
– Gear failures and injuries
– Wildlife encounters
– The legendary Crab Shack at Nitinaht Narrows
– The brutal boulder fields of Owen Point
– And the final climb out to Gordon River
