The GADA (Go Anywhere, Do Anything) watch segment is getting incredibly crowded, but the new Revelot Maya manages to stand out with an incredible case design and an eye-catching dial. In this review, I go hands-on with the Black Devil Opal prototype, featuring a synthetic opal dial that shifts from a subtle black and red to a brilliant "chronological confetti" glitter bomb in direct sunlight.
We are looking at the 39mm Seiko-inspired case, the premium Miyota 9039 automatic movement, and the excellent 7-link bracelet with an on-the-fly adjustable clasp. I will also break down the launch pricing, compare the automatic versus the sweeping quartz VH31 movement options, and go over the upgrades coming to the final production models.
⌚ Watch Specs:
Dimensions: 39mm case | 46.2mm lug-to-lug | 12mm thick
Water Resistance: 100m with a screw-down crown
Movements: Miyota 9039 Automatic or Seiko VH31 Sweeping Quartz
Dial: Synthetic Black Devil Opal (other exotic options available)
Weight: 130g on the bracelet
Price: Ranging from $225 to $528 (Configuration shown is ~$494)
