FROM PROMISE THROUGH PROCESS TO PROCESSION The 5 Daughters Who Claimed Their Inheritance | Numbers 27 & Joshua 17 Between PROMISE and POSSESSION, there is PROCESS. In Fall Session #2 of the BFAM Global Academy, Apostle Linda Cullens W. takes us deeper into what happens after we have crossed the Threshold. The question is no longer simply, “What has God promised me?” The deeper question becomes: WHO MUST I BECOME TO POSSESS AND STEWARD WHAT GOD HAS PROMISED? Through the powerful story of the five daughters of Zelophehad—Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah—we discover women who understood that they had a portion in the inheritance. They stood before Moses, Eleazar, the princes, and the congregation at the door of the Tabernacle and declared: “Give unto us therefore a possession among the brethren of our father.” — Numbers 27:4 KJV And the LORD answered: “The daughters of Zelophehad speak right…” — Numbers 27:7 KJV But God's YES in Numbers 27 did not immediately put the land beneath their feet. They had to carry the promise through process. Moses transitioned. Joshua arose. Jordan was crossed. Battles were fought. The land was divided. And in Joshua 17, the daughters appeared again, remembering exactly what the LORD had commanded concerning their inheritance. The promise survived the process. This teaching explores the prophetic progression: PRESENCE → PROMISE → PROCESS → POSSESSION → PRODUCE → PRAISE We also explore the prophetic significance surrounding the daughters' names, including Hoglah and the imagery of the partridge—ground, territory, difficult terrain, establishment, and inheritance. And there is another powerful revelation: They received the WORD at the door of the Tabernacle before they received LAND beneath their feet. From there, we follow the biblical theme of dwelling, inheritance, land, harvest, and rejoicing, connecting it thematically with the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot). This is not simply about entering the land. It is about discovering: What is my portion? What has God entrusted to me? What must I cultivate? What must I steward? Who must I become to carry my inheritance? You did not cross the Threshold merely to say you crossed. You crossed to possess. And possession is not the end. God is calling us to move FROM PROMISE, THROUGH PROCESS, TO PROCESSION—moving forward with what He has placed in our hands for His glory. Key Scriptures Numbers 27:1–23 | Numbers 36 | Joshua 5 | Joshua 17:1–6 | Leviticus 23:33–43 | Deuteronomy 16:13–15 DECLARATION: I will not lose in the process what God revealed in the promise. I will remember what the LORD has spoken. I will stand. I will come near. I will possess my portion. I will cultivate my inheritance, and I will steward it for the glory of God.
