Gaplus - Commodore 64 Gameplay (Mastertronic) - Namco Arcade Conversion

Like most budget publishers, Mastertronic released a lot of games that were clones of arcade hits but for a brief period they released officially licensed conversions of arcade games from Namco. One of these was Gaplus, the third game in the Galaxian series. Released exclusively for the Commodore 64 and converted by Ashley Routledge and Dave Saunders (well known on the C64 demo scene as Ash and Dave) it became a firm fan favourite. We have also included the game's loader here which features music from Rob Hubbard taken from Knucklebusters (re-released by Mastertronic on their Ricochet label).
