WNYT Commercial Breaks (July 27, 1995)

Taken from "Days of Our Lives" off of WNYT (channel 13) in Albany, NY, the area's NBC affiliate. I have another break from the same period coming up after this but with different commercials. And here we have another peak WNYT commercial break, this one a few months before the set change. Note Jim Kambrich appears on the old set during the news brief - around the same time John Gray took Jim's spot at 5pm and bumped Jim to the morning newscasts, and eventually Jim reclaimed all evenings when John Gray left and Ed Dague retired. Decided to upload this next because WNYT's general manager Steve Baboulis is retiring after 44 years with the station. Definitely a big loss for WNYT here - Steve made the station the powerhouse it was and I can imagine whoever runs the station next will be taking it in a different direction. Considering all the staffing changes at 13 I'm not surprised there could be a big change. (C) 1995 Viacom, now part of Paramount; WNYT is now owned by Hubbard Broadcasting.
