The Oceanogràfic

During a recent visit to the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, we decided to explore the Oceanogràfic, the largest aquarium in Europe. This video will give you a short overview of what to expect. While the dolphin show was certainly entertaining, the giant aquariums were the selling points for us. On display were different marine ecosystems from tropical seas to the Antarctic Ocean. Perhaps the most fascinating section was the 30-meter underwater tunnel under the largest aquarium in the Oceanogràfic. Where else can you stand face-to-face with a giant shark? Also, their collection of sea life was wonderful. Among the creatures we appreciated most was the rare sunfish or Mola mola, which we have seen diving in Nusa Lembongan in Indonesia. We counted at least 4 different sunfish floating around. They are absolutely mesmerizing to watch and totally worth the visit.
