HE OBEYED ONE INSTRUCTION… THEN THE BOAT COULDN'T HOLD THE BLESSING!

What if holiness is deeper than we often think? Many people understand holiness as staying away from sin and living a morally upright life. But holiness also involves something deeper: ##TOTAL OBEDIENCE TO GOD. Peter allowed Jesus to use his boat to speak to the people. Later, Jesus gave him another instruction: Let down your nets. Peter had worked all night and caught nothing. From a human perspective, the instruction may not have made sense. But Peter obeyed. And what happened next? The catch was so great that the boats struggled to contain the fish. 🐟 One act of obedience led to an overwhelming harvest. Peter became so overwhelmed by what happened that he recognised the greatness and holiness of Jesus. This conversation reminds us that obedience is not always convenient. Sometimes God may ask us to: • Trust Him when things don't make sense. • Obey when we are tired. • Give Him what is available to us. • Follow His instruction even when our experience says otherwise. Holiness is not only about what we refuse to do. It is also about fully surrendering ourselves to God's will.
