The new Toyota Land Cruiser GR Sport has arrived at our workshop after suffering rear quarter-panel damage, and this repair is far more complicated than it looks. The damaged paint had already allowed moisture to reach the bare metal, causing rust to form surprisingly quickly. That is why proper automotive paint is about much more than appearance. Primer, basecoat, clear coat, and every protective layer underneath all play a critical role in preventing corrosion. For a damaged rear quarter panel, the big question is always the same: repair it or replace it? A skilled repair can save the original panel, but a replacement can provide a cleaner result when the damage is severe. However, replacing a quarter panel is not an easy shortcut. The inner structure, wheel-arch area, seams, cavities, corrosion protection, and final paintwork all have to be restored correctly. On a pearl-white Land Cruiser, even a small difference in finish can become obvious. Before the repair begins, we're stripping the vehicle down and inspecting every detail. Watch the full process to see how we approach this GR Sport's accident damage. I highly recommend you to watch the first episode of the fix    • Can a Severely Damaged BMW M3 Be Restored ...   #toyota #toyotalandcruiser #landcruiser #LandCruiserGRSport #grsport #toyotarestoration #toyotarepair #carrepair #accidentrepair #bodyrepair #QuarterPanelRepair #QuarterPanelReplacement #autobodyrepair #collisionrepair #paintrepair #rustrepair #pearlwhite #carrestoration #bodyshop #toyota4x4 #offroadsuv #japanesecars #automotiverepair #beforeandafter #cartransformation
