🎲🪙🎰🪙🎲 Welcome to the Casino BABY 🎲🪙🎰🪙🎲 🎲🎲🎲🎲🎲🎲🎲🎲🎲🎲🎲🎲🎲🎲🎲🎲🎲🎲🎲🎲 TonyScapone plays Izzet Storm in a Modern Showcase Challenge and Jewel Shops in a Vintage Challenge on Magic: The Gathering Online! These matches were played on: 08/29/26. Izzet Storm (sometimes called noGifts) is a Modern storm deck that is very similar to Ruby Storm. Both decks use cost reducers to reduce the cost of rituals and draw spells to combo off and churn through the deck, ultimately killing the opponent with something like Grapeshot. The main difference is that noGifts does not typically use Ruby Medallion but instead relies on the various creature based cost reducers such as Stormcatch Mentor and of course Ral, Monsoon Mage. Before Ruby Medallion was reprinted for Modern through Modern Horizons III, Modern Storm had to use creature based cost reducers only but because of the new power level of some of the blue action spells like Stock Up and Flow State, there is new advantages to forgoing the Ruby Medallion and embracing the more fragile nature of creature based cost reducers. Not to mention Stormcatch Mentor is a beast! noGifts Storm is a deck that can be defined by the core of Ral, Monsoon Mage, Flow State, Manamorphose, Desperate Ritual, and Grapeshot. Jewel Shops is a Vintage Mono Blue combo deck that uses the power of Mishra's Workshop to power out huge artifacts like The One Ring, Coveted Jewel, and Relic of Sauron. After spending years of innovating new ways to build this deck, I finally perfected a new build using Transmute Artifact to effectively increase the amount of copies of Tinker that you could play. After crushing some online events, I was able to win a Black Lotus at NYSE X and today's video shows a continuation of that success in a MTGO Challenge! All you gotta do to win is resolve a Coveted Jewel, copy it a couple times with Phyrexian Metamorph, find a Transmute Artifact to go get Paradox Engine, and from there you can pretty easily draw your whole deck! Don't forget that we have Chaos Defiler as a tutor target for Transmute Artifact to get us out of some of the toughest of spots from cards like Archon of Emeria or even Null Rod! Jewel Shops is a deck that can be defined by the core of Coveted Jewel, Mishra's Workshop, The One Ring, Force of Will, Ancient Tomb, Transmute Artifact, and Tinker.
