Bushcraft VS Traditional Chinese Dueling Knife!

This Knife Hates Bushcraft | A Taoist Journey Into the Wrong Tool There is a way of the woods. The tree falls. The fire burns. The cordage holds. The knife cuts. All things have their nature, and the wise woodsman does not ask a fish to climb a tree. And yet… Today we have brought a Chinese martial arts knife into the forest. It was not born for batoning. It was not raised for carving tent pegs. It does not dream of making feather sticks beside a campfire. It belongs to another path — a path of martial arts, movement, discipline, and tradition. So naturally, we took it bushcrafting. What follows is less a lesson in proper bushcraft and more a wandering meditation on knives, tools, tradition, and the strange things humans do when they have a perfectly good knife but decide to bring the wrong one into the woods. Perhaps the knife is useless. Perhaps the woods are teaching us something. Or perhaps we have simply wandered very far from the path. The Tao of Bushcraft begins with the right tool… and occasionally ends with bringing the wrong one anyway. 🌲🥋🔪 For more....stuff, please like, comment & subscribe!
