Adventurous Overnight Camp with my Dog - Exploring a Hidden Musterers Hut and an Alpine Lake

Join my dog Indi and I for an incredible, adventurous journey in to the Ahuriri Valley in the South Island of New Zealand. If you are looking for an escape from the pressures of life, a return to the simple things, the enjoyment of nature, and an authentic good old fashioned overnight camp in the mountains, then you are in the right place. There is no track to this spot so I navigated by map, GPS and a good old set of eyes. After setting up camp we headed further up the valley to find an old hidden hut to explore, before returning to a beautiful sunset and an incredible full moon. It was so relaxing cooking up my dinner under the moonlight, and enjoying a morning coffee as a new day dawned.
