Kilnsea - North Sea Side

Kilnsea is a hamlet on the East Yorkshire coast, and one of only two places you can have the North Sea on one side and the River Humber on the other. Even though it has a tiny population with a few small farms, it is popular with tourists who come to stay on the caravan park, those who sea fish, bird watchers (as it is in walking distance of Spurn Point), walkers and the occasional surfer. The Holderness coast is the fastest eroding coastline in Europe, with over 2 metres lost every year, and is the evidence is all too noticeable with the debris of defence bunkers and caravan plots being washed away.
