In its inaugural year, the university developed partnerships with 55 companies, including industry titans like Eli Lilly and Company, Elanco and Dallara; 134 companies participated across four career fairs. These valuable ties are only going to increase and strengthen with the plans in place for the next 50 years. Degrees here optimize the city’s opportunities, such as the nation’s only ABET-accredited undergraduate motorsports engineering program, located close to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and science majors with access to new state-of-the-art physics labs.
