The Unopened Box Problem: How Technology is Changing Sealed Collecting

The value of modern sealed Pokémon products relies heavily on the mystery of what is inside. With CT scanning technology being discussed in the hobby, short-term investors holding sealed boxes for quick profit face tough decisions if that mystery is permanently removed. In this video, I talk through a thought-provoking topic originally brought up by Andy (@andycollectsplus on TikTok) regarding CT scanners, pack weighing, modern print volumes, and how market prices adjust when box contents can be verified. I reflect on the gap before Pokémon can implement physical countermeasures, why short-term investors are most exposed to market volatility. • Original video from Andy Collects: https://www.tiktok.com/@andycollectsp... • Chance Collects Store: https://ebay.io/m/or3DEs • Card Uploader: https://carduploader.com/signup?ref=C...
