Swami Vidyanathananda (Mahan Maharaj) is a monk of the Ramakrishna Order and an internationally respected mathematician. He joined the Ramakrishna Mission in 1998 and took monastic vows in 2008. He has served as Professor of Mathematics and Dean of Research at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University and is currently Professor of Mathematics at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Mumbai. In 2025, he was awarded the Vigyan Shri for his contributions to mathematics
