Marbles and Ecstacy

Matriadorus (aka Stercora Beetle) This title about the the two primal forces of art and the human soul: the balance between disciplined order (Apollo) and chaotic ecstasy (Dionysus). Friedrich Nietzsche's one of my favorite philosopher, and his legacy of work was the main muse of my album creation. Friedrich Nietzsche (1844–1900) was one of the most radical and influential German philosophers of the 19th century, whose work fundamentally shook Western thought and modern existentialism. He became known as a fierce critic of traditional values and Christian morality, while introducing defining concepts such as the phrase 'God is dead', the idea of the Übermensch (Overman/Superman), the will to power, and the doctrine of eternal recurrence. His works—such as 'Thus Spoke Zarathustra' and 'Beyond Good and Evil'—deal with the struggle against nihilism, human autonomy, and individual self-fulfillment, encouraging individuals to create the meaning of their own lives in the world.
