Have you ever faced a crisis so overwhelming that your natural mind simply shut down? This powerful message, rooted in the teachings of Smith Wigglesworth, reveals the life-changing truth about praying in the Spirit—and why it is not an optional gift but a divine necessity for every believer. In this video, we explore the incredible true story of Brother Burton, a missionary in the heart of Africa who was literally at death's door, covered over and mourned as dead. Yet at that exact moment, thousands of miles away in England, a woman he had never met was compelled by the Holy Spirit to pray in tongues. She didn't know his name. She didn't know his condition. But the Spirit knew—and through her obedience, a dead man rose from his bed. Drawing from 1 Corinthians 14:15, Romans 8:26-27, Jude 1:20, Ephesians 6:18, and Acts 2, this message unpacks the biblical foundation of praying in the Spirit, how it bypasses the limitations of your natural understanding, and how it positions you as a vessel for miracles, intercession, and divine breakthroughs you may never see this side of eternity. 🔔 Subscribe to Smith Wigglesworth's Words for more powerful messages that will ignite your faith and transform your walk with God. 👍 If this message blessed you, hit the LIKE button and SHARE it with someone who needs to be stirred up in prayer today! 💬 Comment "I WILL PRAY IN THE SPIRIT" if you are committing to a deeper prayer life starting today! ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS: 00:00 – Introduction: The Truth Most Believers Miss About Prayer 01:45 – 1 Corinthians 14:15: Praying With the Spirit AND Understanding 03:30 – Why Praying in the Spirit Is Not Just for "Super Spiritual" People 05:15 – The True Story of Brother Burton & the African Mission Field 08:00 – Burton Falls Deathly Ill: "He Has Preached His Last Sermon" 10:10 – The Miracle: A Warm Thrill From Head to Toe 11:45 – The Woman in England: Praying in Tongues Across Continents 14:00 – The Diary Revelation: Date & Time Matched Exactly 15:30 – Romans 8:26-27: The Spirit Intercedes With Groanings 17:15 – Jude 1:20: Building Yourself Up on Your Most Holy Faith 19:00 – Praying in the Spirit as Spiritual Warfare (Ephesians 6:18) 20:45 – Acts 2 & Acts 10: The Birth of the Church in Tongues 22:15 – Paul's Secret: "I Speak in Tongues More Than You All" 23:30 – Practical Tips: How to Pray in the Spirit Daily 25:15 – Overcoming Doubt & Awkwardness in Praying in Tongues 26:45 – The Enemy's Attack on This Gift & How to Stand Firm 28:00 – Final Challenge & Call to Action 29:15 – Closing Prayer & Blessing 🔍 TOP SEARCHES: praying in the spirit explained, smith wigglesworth praying in tongues, how to pray in the holy spirit, what happens when you pray in tongues, speaking in tongues for beginners ⚠️ DISCLAIMER: This video is for educational, inspirational, and spiritual enrichment purposes only.
