This is a Spectrum Anniversary 4-6-0 steam locomotive and tender. The locomotive No. 7 has a Digitraxx G scale decoder installed in it. There is a MRC sound only DCC sound decoder installed in the tender with a large speaker. The front pony truck has been modified with a working coupler mounted to it. Weight has also been added to the bottom of the pony truck. The tender has had electrical pickups added to its wheels, so it also supplies power to the locomotive. There are 3 power connectors, each with its own cable that pass power between the tender and the locomotive. Each is marked with a different color and only marked on one side so they do not get plugged into the wrong one or wrong direction. NOTE: turn off all track power before placing this locomotive on the track. If any cables from the tender or locomotive touch the rail it will fry one of the DCC boards. The front headlight is fully operational and goes off when the locomotive is put in reveres. You cal also control the headlight with the DCC control. This locomotive is my favorite of the 6 I had n the layout. She was the main work horse. She has only been on a point t point model railroad, so she dose not have the same hours one would have just running in a lop. The Spectrum Anniversary locomotives have a lot more detail then the lower classed big haulers. Having many metal and brass detail parts. One of the nice futures is the metal running gear. This locomotive is weathered. Extra details have been added like tls and extra crew members as well as real coal t the tender.
