Bastei Bridge & Neurathen Castle | Saxon Switzerland, Germany | Travel with Iva Jasperson

Hi guys! Join me on a photo journey through Bastei in Saxon Switzerland, Germany! This trip takes us along forest paths, across the famous Bastei Bridge and through the ruins of Neurathen Rock Castle, with views of towering sandstone formations and the Elbe River valley. Built in 1851, the stone Bastei Bridge stretches 76.5 metres across a deep gorge between the rocks. Its dramatic setting makes it one of the best-known landmarks of Saxon Switzerland. My photos also take you through the Neurathen castle grounds, with narrow walkways, stone steps, historic inscriptions and a replica catapult.
