Pink Floyd - Utrecht 1968 Upgrade (Sigma 360) Live At Jaarbeurs-Margriethal, Utrecht, Netherlands 28th December 1968 ---------- Notes: [★UPGRADE & LONGER!!!] This recording, which perfectly captures the atmosphere of the performance, is an invaluable story of "PINK FLOYD in 1968." When it comes to 1968, most of what remains are short recordings like BBC sessions. This recording is virtually the only one that allows you to listen to a complete set for nearly an hour straight. Because it is such a valuable recording, it has been popular in our store for some time as a bonus CDR, but this is a (significantly) upgraded version. "Graf Zeppelin" has finished a newly discovered master, and while the previous master was a cassette tape transfer, this time it has been digitized from the reel master before it was dubbed onto the cassette. Although the exact generation is unknown, it is the best young generation master currently available. The feeling of the upgrade is, frankly, "like a completely different thing." All the sounds are more vivid, but the most striking is the vocals. Perhaps due to the PA system at the venue, the vocals in this recording were originally somewhat distant, and in the previous master, they could only be heard as "something being said in the distance." While this version is by no means close up either, the significantly improved resolution allows you to clearly follow the melody. Furthermore, the lack of bass has been eliminated, finally resolving a long-standing weakness. "Graf Zeppelin" was responsible for finishing this new master. They removed the gap noise that had been mixed in and meticulously corrected the pitch. (monotone-extra.co.jp) Texto original em japonês.
