The Diocese of Belgaum joyfully begins the Preparatory Year towards its 75th Anniversary – Platinum Jubilee (1958–2028). This six-day preparatory journey invites us to look back with gratitude at God’s faithfulness, celebrate the journey of our Diocese, and look forward with renewed hope and commitment towards a pastoral renewal. Guided by the Jubilee theme: “Walking Together towards a Pastoral Renewal” we begin this journey by recalling the history, growth, mission and significant contributions of the Diocese of Belgaum over the years.
